Camelback Mountain (12 minutes away) is one of the most popular skiing resorts in the area. They usually open trails in mid December so book now! During the summer months, there are also a water park with slides and kids activities. |
Shawnee Mountain (12 minutes away) is also a large resort for more skiing trails and snowboarding. They also have water rides for kids during the summer. Update! The ice skating rink was severely damaged during flooding in tropical storm Ivan, and is closed unfortunately. |

It's open year-round and is an outdoor type mall, so dress warmly to scope out the deals during the winter! Very near to Camelback Mountain if some of your guests don't ski but like to shop. |

Great Wolf Lodge (10 minutes away) is a brand NEW indoor waterpark open YEAR ROUND with indoor pool, water slides and a salon spa for adults. Good to get the kids some variety from skiing and tubing, and get a massage while you're there.
Pocono Raceway (30 minutes away) is the home of the annual Pocono 500 and Pennsylvania 500 NASCAR Nextel Series races. Book early for these dates, since it's the busiest tourist weekend for the whole Poconos area.
